STRAWBERRY ICING

STRAWBERRY ICING


Combine in top of double boiler over boiling water:
                        2 egg whites, unbeaten
                        1 C. sugar
                        dash of salt
                        2/ 3 C. frozen berries, thawed and drained
Beat 7 min. or until peaks form.  Remove from heat and beat 2 min. more to spreadable consistency. 
Ices two 9” layer cakes or one 10” tube cake.
