Brown well: 6 pork steaks, 2 1/ 2 lb.
Cut 4 med. Sweet potatoes in 1/ 2” slices. Arrange in large casserole (9x13). Slice 2 medium orange. Place a slice of orange on each slice of potato. Place steaks over all.
Squeeze one orange. Add water to make 1/ 2 C. Add:
1/ 2 C. brown sugar
1/ 8 tsp. salt
Dash of ground cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
Pour over steaks.
Cover and bake at 350 for 45 min. Uncover and bake 30 min.
