REFRIGERATOR BRAN MUFFINS

REFRIGERATOR BRAN MUFFINS


Step 1:
                        Combine and let sit while mixing rest
                        2 C. 100% bran
                        2 C. boiling water
Step 2:
                        Cream 1 1/ 4 C. Crisco
                        2 C. sugar
                        Add; 4 eggs, well beaten
Sift together:
                        5 C. flour
                        5 tsp. soda
Add alternately:
                        4 C. Kellogs All Bran Buds
                        1 qt. Buttermilk - mix well

Mix all together well.  Keeps in a covered container in refrigerator up to 6 weeks.  Bake a few at a time as desired or all at once and freeze.  Thaw and reheat as desired.
