Fresh garlic
Oil
Carrots cut into match sticks
Cabbage, coarsely shredded
Water
Dried shitake mushrooms, sliced into thin strips
Freeze dried tiny shrimp
Rice noodles (Rice stick)
Soy sauce
Put enough water to cover the rice noodles into a pot. Heat to almost boiling, remove from heat, and add rice noodles. Remove rice noodles when soft. Add mushrooms and shrimp to soften, then remove.
Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Add garlic and stir-fry. Add cabbage and carrots and stir-fry. Add water ( 1-2 cups). Add soy sauce. Add rice noodles and vegetables and cook until water is absorbed. May add pepper to taste if desired.
