PERFECT DIVINITY

Mix:

                        2 1/ 2 C. sugar

                        1/ 2 C. light corn syrup

                        1/ 2 C. water

Cook to soft ball stage, stirring till sugar disolves.

Pour 1/ 2 of above mix into mixmaster, add 2 egg whites(beaten stiff) and beat while other half of mix continues to cook to hard ball stage.  Add to mixer with 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/ 2 C. chopped nuts.  Beat till stiff and it loses it’s shine.  Dip quickly by spoonfuls onto greased paper or sheet.  Let sit to cool and set.
