7 POUND CANDY

Mix:

                        4 lbs. sugar

                        1/ 3 lb. Butter

                        2 cups or one bottle Karo syrup - white

                        1 lb. Shelled pecans

                        1 large and 1 small can evaporated milk (pet)

                        1 tsp. salt

Cook briskly for 1 hour.  When cool, add nuts and 2 tsp. vanilla.  Beat until creamy.
