BANANA NUT CUPCAKES

BANANA NUT CUPCAKES

Cream:  1/ 2 C. yellow Crisco
Add and cream well 1 1/ 3 C. sugar
Sift and add:
                        2 C. flour
                        1 tsp. baking powder
                        3/ 4 tsp. salt
Mix seperatley:
                        1/ 2 C. sour milk minus 2 tsp.
                        1 C. mashed banana (2 large or 3 small, usually)
Add 1/ 4 of milk and bananas to above mix to moisten and beat 2 minutes.
Add and beat till smooth:
                        2 eggs, unbeaten
                        remaining milk and bananas
Add:
                        1/ 2 C. nuts
                        1 tsp. vanilla
Fill greased muffin tins or cupcake papers.
Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
