CORNBREAD

1 Egg - beaten
Add:
            1 C. buttermilk
            3 Tbsp. oil
Mix:
            1/ 2 tsp. salt
            2 Tbsp. sugar
            3/ 4 C. flour
            1 1/ 4 C. cornmeal
            1 tsp. soda

Add dry ingredients to egg, milk and oil to make a medium thin batter.

Pour into well greased 9x9 pan.  Bake at 400 for 10 minutes then at 350 for 20 minutes until done.  Should be golden brown.  Test middle with toothpick.
