God Love 'Em Cookies

GOD LOVE EM COOKIES                     Flo’s mother

Cream:

                        1 C. butter

                        1 1/ 2 C. sugar, part brown

Add:                2 eggs and beat well.

Sift and Add:

                        2 1/ 2 C. flour

                        2 tsp. soda

Add:

                        2 Tbsp. hot water

                        1 tsp. vanilla.

Stir in:

                        1 C. coconut

                        1 C. dates chopped (or chocolate chips)

                        1 C. nuts chopped

Drop on greased sheets by tspful.

Bake at 400 for 10 - 12 minutes
